Absent from Life

Hmm that would make an interesting title for something... like a band or movie.

Aloha, Bonjour, Konichiwa, Hola, Hello

Wow its been months since I've been on here. Well I could blame it on many things, the move, school work, life, junior year, ect. In reality its the whole combination. I have been drawing but its mostly been doodles in class or more serious work for building a portfolio. Okay so its almost all doodles. I am determined to spit something out over the break though. I do have a an insane amount of work I have let pile up and is due sometime after break so that's how I'll be spending most of my time. A heads up on what I will probably doing: Twilight fanart (yes I have been sucked into the fandom), stuff from Avatar, The Big Bang Theory, and some original work.

Avatar Finale = utter greatness

Will post artwork soon!
Anyone wants to do an art trade or wants me to draw something let me know!

Aloha, Au Revoir, Adios

The Boiling Rock of awesomesauce (and doom)

Sun May 4, 2008, 11:42 AM
  • Mood: Angsty
  • Listening to: my head hitting the wall
  • Reading: who cares
  • Watching: the slow destruction of Zutara in slow motion
  • Playing: idoit
  • Eating: I'm too depressed to eat
So I watched it, "The Boiling Rock" part 1 and 2. It was awesome! The animation was brilliant the character development was magnificant, and the twists were so unsuspecting yet perfect. Now I will go angst in the corner, partly because who knows when the next episode will be illegally posted on the internet (lol), but mostly to try and find a shred of hope in the remains of a wonderful ship, which Mike and Brian seem to love dangle in front of our eyes and then laugh at us as we watch it get attacked again and again. So after I finish angsting in the corner I will most likely precede to fanfiction.net and youtube, and here in hopes that these wonderful artists each in their own mediums can rekindle my hope.

On another note, I just cleared 4ft on the high jump! I know its not that high but I'm awfully proud of myself because I started off not knowing anything and even though the high jump coach(s) {one actually coaches weights but used to high jump} don't really think I have any talent and kinda ignore me, I've gotten pretty far. Now I have to convince my coach to let me jump in the next meet. -_-;

Okay. I have track now and practice ends at roughly 5:30. However I'm doing long distance (just like XC but shorter distances woooo hooo) and javalin (maybe hurdles too, we'll see), so I normally stay till 6 (would stay later but they kick you out of the gym then) and do some extra work outs or practice hurdles and the high jump (because I love it and suck at it). With traffic and the fact that my mom often works to a little after six, I don't get home till about 7-7:30. Then I have to do my chores, eat dinner, do my homework, and get ready for bed. All in all I don't get to go to sleep until about 11-11:45. Then I get to get up at 6:25, get ready, make breakfast, make sure the dogs have food and water, gather up all my crap, and be in the car by 6:50 just so I can get to school at 7:50 and repeat the day over again.

I'm a zombie right now so chances are I won't be posting stuff or replying to comments any time soon. I don't mean to offend you by any means, so if I do, don't hesitate to tell me.

On the bright side: Only one more week till spring break! Two whole weeks of doing absolutely nothing!

P.S I love track! (no matter how much it hurts after practice. *my legs are covered with ice packs and advil is my newest friend... although it doesn't seem to help much...*)

I am not dead... just really busy. Anyway I had some sketches I wanted to upload but I left my sketch book at my dad's house and I won't be going down there until *crosses fingers in hope* New years. I got home and realized I didn't have it and there is no way I'm gonna have him mail it... he'd either forget, or it would end up at my mom's office and then she would say "If you have time to doodle you need to study! RAWR"... so I have to keep waiting... T___T

****** RANT TIME ******

So with the upcoming midterms (joy.) and a chem quiz I was freaking out about, I haven't been getting much sleep, and the stress ended up causing insomina. I couldn't sleep for 3 nights... I was awake for 72 hours straight on the week where we are reviewing (aka cramming everything we've learned into our over stuffed brains) for midterms. So I don't really remember much. On the bright side my mom prescibed me some kind of sleep aid, but its 1:20 in the morning, so it might not be working...

*End RANT*

So I found this really good anime if anyone would like to know of one. Its called Kaleido Star. Its about this girl (16) named Sora who came to the US to join a famous circus called Kaleido stage and become a true star (sounds cheesy but its not). She has to overcome many obstacles on her way and ends up making some pretty cool friends (poor Ken-kun) Its really good, its funny, sweet, sad, inspiring, funny. It makes you want to be in the circus so badly, you want to be able to do all of those cool stunts. And its got Fool and Jonathan in it... they rule. You can go to veoh.com and see them. Technically it makes more sense in English because it takes place in America but I recommend the english subbed version.

Anyone know when the next ATLA episode is coming out?

(Oh I learned this cool chem trick where you can make it look like your firebending.)
